Job Opportunity with Columbus Community Church

Columbus Community Church is a rural non-denominational church located in Columbus, NY in need of a full-time pastor.  Average attendance is 50+ with some coming from 60 miles away. Average age is 50+ offering stable financial support.  The church, built in 1844 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Duties include but are not limited to:

– visit shut-ins, nursing homes & hospitals, provide end of life support, area communities and parishioners
– conduct church outreach ministries
– prepare weekly church bulletin and sermons
– attend church committee meetings
– officiate at marriages, funerals and baptisms
– officiate at religious celebrations such as Advent
– work with in-house committees as needed
– other duties as needed
