The Saint Paul Baptist Church of Passaic, NJ is seeking a Senior Pastor as Shepherd of our great Church.

We are a small Church (approximately 125 members) located in an urban setting. The Saint Paul family has a strong emphasis on serving God and His people. The Church has historically been involved in the spiritual growth and education of the local community, which has been the hallmark of the Church over Her 93 year history.

The Saint Paul Baptist Church is seeking a visionary Pastor with strong leadership skills who will preach the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ, teach sound Baptist doctrine, engage in Pastoral care ministries, and also provide spiritual leadership

A successful Candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Be a Born-again, Baptized believer in Jesus Christ with qualities and characteristics reflected in 1Timothy 3:1-7, Galatians 5:22-23 and Malachi 3:10.
• Be a Licensed, Baptist Minister, skilled in preaching and teaching sound doctrine to individuals of all ages.
• Provide documented experience as a senior Pastor associate Pastor or an associate Minister significantly involved in Church administration and ministry.
• College educated and/or Degree from an accredited Theological Seminary or School of Divinity is preferred.
• Be approachable and display love for the Church and its entire people.
• Be a visionary thinker and planner with sound judgment and discernment.
• Demonstrate ability to apply principles of financial management and work with leadership to cooperatively
• Manage the Church’s resources effectively and efficiently.

• Resume and Letter of Interest
• Recording of two (2) recent sermons preached on different occasions (preferably DVD)
• Copy of License/Certificate of Ordination
• Verification of College Degrees, Seminary or Theological training/course work
• Three references (Current Pastor, Colleague in the Ministry Personal friend).
